Enrique Borras

CEO

Enrique has been immersed in Internet and online services since their beginnings. He has a continuing passion to bring information, control and security to the hands of everyday people. The constantly growing digital environment in every home and business brought the need for security-at-ease to Enrique’s attention. With a quintillion of family photos and videos on his own PC, he was frustrated to find no easy and economical solution to keep them safe from harm. The obvious solution was of course to create the ideal online backup solution himself, with a professional team of his choosing.

Enrique has 20 years of professional experience in project management and consulting within the international telecommunications industry. He has managed the integration of online and telecommunication systems for companies such as ING Direct, Habitat and Arbor BP.

Enrique began his technical education with a BSc. in Engineering from UPC, Barcelona followed by a PDD from IESE Business School.

Enrique has put together an international team of developers and designers ready to deliver the next generation of online backup technology.

Joan Serras

CTO

Technology and software engineering have long been Joan’s focus and passion.

After completing a Bsc. in Physics followed by a Phd. In Software Enginnering, both from UPC, Barcelona, Joan was ready to hit the object-oriented ground running. Joan has 15 years software experience, and has been the technical lead in various international projects. As team leader for PICIS healthcare information technology, Joan was responsible for producing rapid and fully secure software solutions for major hospital systems.

Far beyond his professional career, Joan dedicates much of his time to keeping abreast of the latest technological and software advances. He has a special place in his heart for online technology and only occasionally detaches himself from his laptop for an impromptu biking adventure.

Joan drives the Fiabee technology team to create the most effective solutions to online backup for today’s demands.

Marina Zaliznyak

Business Development

Born in the Ukraine, raised in the US and professionally cultured in Spain, Marina has international in her veins. She comes from a multifaceted background, with a constant thread in digital products and services. She’s founded her own online marketing agency, held product development positions, and ran the sales operations in Spain a leading European SEO-SEM company.

With a passion for startups, Marina is a contributing writer for Techcrunch Europe. She brings extensive business development experience, a strong international network and a drive to innovate.

Francisco Torras

Advisor

Francisco brings to the project his valuable experience in managing and directing business projects which have an impact on entire markets and their geographical extensions. He has held top positions (Chief Executive and Director General) in multinational companies, and has headed several international growth and expansion projects.

Francisco has a PhD in Engineering from UPC and a PDG from IESE. He has held top positions as CEO in multinational companies.
